Brighton Bay Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is hiring a Dietary Cook to prepare and provide meals to residents in a cost-effective, compliant manner. Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Knowledge of Department of Health Rules and Regulations.
• At least 1 year experience in a related position required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents and staff in accordance with food safety regulations and within physician’s/nutritionists’ dietary recommendations.
• Maintain high standard of food preparation, sanitation, storage, and portion control.
• Determine food and supplies needed for daily menus; obtain supplies in time for adequate production.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved.
• Assist in scheduled cleaning duties following established sanitary standards.
• Participates and assists in departmental studies and projects as assigned or as may become necessary.
• Represents the facility at and participates in meetings as required.
• Assists in standardizing work methods.
