Amistad Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow standardized recipes, and ensure foods are served on time in a sanitary environment.

In this role you will manage ingredients, suggest cost-saving ideas, and help maintain high quality and safety standards while working closely with staff to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Can follow menus and recipes to consistently produce high-quality meals.
• Ensures meals are prepared and served on time.
• Adapts easily to changing tasks and kitchen needs.
• Works well in a team and can step into a leadership role when needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals according to standardized recipes in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Manage ingredients, suggest ways to utilize leftovers and reduce overstock.
• Ensure quality control by accurately preparing, portioning and serving meals.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and twisting as needed.
