Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook as directed by the Food Service Director; Prepare and label nourishments according to facility procedures; Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other non-entrée items; Pour and distribute beverages as assigned; Follow production sheets, pre-preparation sheets, and established guidelines.
• Assist with meal service to residents and staff; Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and workstations; Support setup and cleanup for special events as needed.
