Job Summary

At Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietary Cook to join our team. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing high-quality meals for our residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods in large quantities, ensuring that all meals meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.

• Utilize effective leadership and communication skills to work harmoniously with other personnel, including dietary staff, servers, and laundry personnel.

• Possess excellent culinary skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and tact.

• Possess the ability to deal effectively with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
