Job summary

Twin Pines Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary team member to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting, ensuring adherence to prescribed diet plans and sanitation standards.

You will work in a supportive, family-like atmosphere with opportunities for tuition assistance and comprehensive benefits. Wage range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, with on-demand and weekly pay options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to follow dietary specifications.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
• Must meet state food handler training requirements and maintain currency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to prescribed resident diets and established procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining clean and safe kitchen area and comply with sanitation standards.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
