Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting. Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and special dietary needs.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A caring and respectful team player committed to quality service.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared safely, timely, and with attention to taste and presentation.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow all sanitation and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to meet residents’ preferences and special diets.
• Accurately follow recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary restrictions.
• Monitor food temperatures and document according to regulatory standards.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and receiving deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of dietary operations.
