Job summary

Piedmont Health & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will ensure meals meet prescribed diet specs and follow all sanitation and safety guidelines under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

The role emphasizes a 2nd shift from 12:00p to 8:00p with a wage of $17.00 per hour and the opportunity to grow through tuition assistance and benefits.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 2nd Shift, 12:00p - 8:00p
• Wage: $17.00 per hour
