Job summary

Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family. This PRN morning shift (5:00 AM to 1:30 PM) focuses on caring for residents and maintaining safe facility operations within health-care dietary standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.

Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family!

We are searching for a Dietary Cook /Dietary Aide PRN to work the morning shift hours are 5:00 AM TO 1:30PM that is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
