Job summary

Beauvais Rehab and Healthcare is seeking Dietary Cooks to join the Dietary team. Cooks will prepare all meals for residents and staff, following standardized recipes and menus.

They report to the Director of Dietary Services and will be responsible for timely meal service and food quality. The role requires reading and writing skills, institutional/campus cooking experience, reliability, and physical stamina to meet job demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral directions.
• Must present work history that includes institutional or commercial cooking experience.
• Must be dependable and demonstrate an excellent attendance and timeliness record.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Duties, include but are not limited to:

1. Read menu, plan cooking schedule to have food ready for timely service.
2. Prepare food according to standardized recipes.
3. Wash, peel. cut, trim vegetables, fruits, or meat.
4. Bake, roast, stew, or steam cooks meat or vegetables.
