Job summary

White Blossom Care Center in San Jose, CA is seeking a dependable Full-Time Dietary Cook to join our culinary team and prepare nutritious, tasty meals for residents. You will follow daily menus, use standardized recipes, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and clear communication. We offer a full benefits package, PTO, retirement options, and opportunities to grow within a resident-centered environment. AM or PM shifts available.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred, healthcare or long-term care experience a plus.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the daily menu and dietary requirements.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Work collaboratively with dietary aides and other kitchen staff.
• Assist with inventory, food prep, and kitchen organization.
• Provide excellent service to residents and contribute to a positive dining experience.
