Job summary

White Blossom Care Center in California is seeking a dependable Full-Time Dietary Cook to join our culinary team serving residents.

You will prepare nutritious meals following menus and dietary requirements, maintain safety standards, and work with dietary aides in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with staff.

Full-Time 4 on 2 off rotation, AM and PM shifts White Blossom Care Center is seeking a dependable, team‑oriented Full-Time Dietary Cook to join our dedicated culinary team. What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook meals according to the daily menu and dietary requirements
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Work collaboratively with dietary aides and other kitchen staff
• Assist with inventory, food prep, and kitchen organization
• Provide excellent service to residents and contribute to a positive dining experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous cooking experience preferred—healthcare or long‑term care experience a plus
• Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills
• Genuine desire to support and serve our residents

Pay & Benefits

• Starting at $20-22/hour and up (DOE)
