Job description

We are seeking a Dietary Cook/Aide/Dishwasher to join our team! You will work alongside other medical professionals to provide exceptional care to patients.

Dietary Aide/Dishwasher Pay Range: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour depending upon experience

Dietary Cook Pay Range: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour depending upon experience

Location: Perry, GA

The Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

• Washing dishes, tableware, glasses, and kitchen/dining room equipment, and storing them in an orderly fashion;
• Ensuring work complies with all federal, state, and facility sanitation and infection control regulations;
• Preparing and serving coffee, tea, juice, etc., if required;
• Washing pots, pans, and cooking utensils used in meal preparation;
• Cleaning work areas, dining room floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events, including sweeping and mopping at the end of shifts;
• Assisting with between-meal nourishment;
• Serving meals and assisting with beverage pouring in the dining area;
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, food storage, and supply areas according to schedule;
• Removing kitchen garbage and cleaning trash containers;
• Performing duties swiftly and in an organized manner to meet deadlines;
• Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, and fire safety;
• Respecting residents' rights;
• Following safety procedures;
• Adhering to the schedule set by the Dietary Manager.

The Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with no significant violations;
• Meeting all health requirements, including TB and drug screening;
• Passing a criminal background check;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
