Job summary

Oak Knoll Health And Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals in compliance with federal, state, and local standards and the facility's policies. You will also assist with daily cleaning duties and support a clean, safe dining environment for residents.

The role requires experience in cooking large quantities or relevant training, a patient and positive attitude toward the elderly, and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cooking large quantities or training preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled
• Must read, write, speak English
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, the facility’s established policies and procedures, and as directed by the Food Service Director, to ensure quality food service at all times.
• Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.

• To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, the facility’s established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Food Service Director, to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.
• Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in cooking large quantities or completion of appropriate training program preferred.

• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
