Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is seeking a Cook for our Long Term Care Facility. Under the supervision of the Director of Culinary Services, you will prepare, serve and store meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience, knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations, and the ability to communicate with residents, families and staff. Serv Safe certification is preferred.

General Summary of Work of the Cook:

Works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Culinary Services, in the preparation, serving and storage of meals in accordance with printed menus, standardized recipes, special dietary requirements and state/federal and local regulations.

Principle Tasks of the Cook:

QUALIFICATIONS of the Cook:

• At least one year of applicable experience is preferred
• Current knowledge of job-related state and federal regulations
• Must be capable of regular attendance
• Must meet all local health regulations, including criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
• Serv Safe Certification preferred
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
