Job summary

Avalon Health & Rehab Center is seeking a part-time dietary team member for our skilled nursing facility. You will prepare meals per resident diet specifications, following safety and sanitation rules under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

We offer on-demand and weekly pay options, a family-like atmosphere, generous PTO and benefits, and tuition assistance to advance your career. Evening shifts are available with wages at $16.00 per hour.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Part-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Evening

• Wage: $16.00 per hour
