Bedrock Care Group in Milton, PA seeks a dedicated Cook to manage food production, ensure safety and sanitation, and bring joy to our community through nutritious and delicious dining experiences.

You will follow standardized recipes, monitor dietary modifications, and collaborate with dining staff to deliver meals while complying with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation:Prepare and serve high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and established menus.

• Dietary Compliance:Follow specific dietary modifications and nutritional guidelines as ordered for residents (e.g., low sodium, mechanical soft).

• Safety & Sanitation:Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to all local health department regulations and food safety standards.

• Inventory Management:Stock, rotate, and date products using "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) methods.

• Collaboration:Work closely with the Dining Services Coordinator and dietary aides to ensure timely meal delivery and service.

Qualifications

• Experience:Minimum of one (1) year of food preparation experience in a nursing home, or other healthcare setting.

• Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Skills:Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a compassionate attitude toward the elderly.
