Job summary

Emerald Health & Rehab Center in North Carolina is seeking dedicated dietary staff to prepare meals per resident diets and dietary procedures. You will work under the Food Service Director, ensuring compliance with safety standards and facility policies.

Positions are full-time or part-time with shifts 6a-2p and 12p-8p, offering a wage of $17.00–$19.00 per hour and flexible pay options including daily pay and weekly pay, plus comprehensive benefits and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
  • Must meet state requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications and safety regulations.
  • Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies.
  • Adhere to the community's Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

  • Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:
  • Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunity Available

  • Shifts Needed: 6a-2p and 12p-8p

  • Wage: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
