Arcadia Care is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring high-quality food service. The role involves reviewing menus, producing meals on schedule, and assisting with diet planning under physician/dietician guidance.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dietary/food experience if available and hold State Food Service Sanitation certification. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility preferred but not required.
• Must have State Food Service Sanitation certification.
• Food Sanitation License preferred.

Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is always provided.

Essential Duties

• Review menus prior to preparation of food and prepare timely meals and snacks according to food safety guidelines.
• Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician and dietician. Assure that food is available for preparation by cooks.
