Avir Vista is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare and cook high-quality foods for residents, guests, and staff in a health care setting, ensuring adherence to state health rules and facility standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with preference for nursing home and healthcare food service experience; strong teamwork and food preparation skills are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Mansioni

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.

We are searching for a Dietary Cook that is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The purpose of this role is to prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees. Ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards. If you are team-oriented, driven, and excited about the opportunity to care for our residents, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
