Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated dietary team member in Fredericksburg, VA to prepare meals per resident diet specifications and community procedures, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

You will follow health, sanitary and infection control policies to maintain high standards of practice while contributing to a team that values residents and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet state requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications.
• Follow community procedures and health/sanitation regulations.
• Assist under supervision of the Food Service Director.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Mornings and Evenings

• Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
