Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a Dietary Cook to support nursing home residents, staff and visitors with nourishing meals under the supervision of the Dietary Services Manager.

The role requires preparing, seasoning and cooking meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following state regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of institutional food service experience; weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for residents.

Dietary Cook Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Services Manager, the Dietary Cook will prepare, season and cook food for nursing home residents, staff and visitors.

Full Time Plus Every Other Weekend Required

Dietary Cook Qualifications:

• Minimum education: High school degree.
• Experience: prefer a minimum of 1 years’ experience in institutionalized food service.
• Along with physical skills, a cook must be compassionate and patient when working with elderly residents, as well as the residents’ family members.

Dietary Cook Responsibilities:
