Position Summary :

Your primary responsibility is to prepare food according to resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety standards, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. You will perform other duties as directed, adhering to all health, sanitary, and infection control policies, and maintaining standards set by the community’s administration and Dietary Policies.

Education & Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation fundamentals; must meet state-specific food handler requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out directions accurately.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, staff, and community members.
• Adherence to safety and sanitary techniques.
• Flexible to work scheduled hours as per the position's requirements.
• Must not pose a health or safety risk to others.

Experience :

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Shift and Wage :

• Part-Time Opportunity
• Shift: 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
