Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dietary team member to prepare meals in a skilled nursing setting, adhering to prescribed resident diets and food safety policies. You will work under the Food Service Director to ensure quality, safety, and patient comfort through every meal served.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet state food handler training requirements.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• GED resources are available to help earn your GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diets and facility procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and standards.
• Work under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
• We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
• At least two (2) years of experience preferred.
