Job summary

Brunswick Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time dietary team member in Ash, North Carolina to prepare meals per resident diet specifications and safety standards. You will assist in food prep and service while keeping kitchens and dining areas clean and compliant with policies.

  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and established standards.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.You will also assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

  • Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage
  • Full-Time Opportunity Available
  • Shifts Needed: 5:00a - 1:30p
    • 40 hours per week
  • Wage: $17.00 per hour
