Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in supervising dietary functions and personnel.
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with tray service.
  • Keep accurate records to support seamless operations.
Job Qualifications:
  • High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write English effectively.
  • Previous culinary experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of preparing large quantities of food, special diets, seasoning, cooking times, and temperature controls.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the manager.
  • Coordinate food and supply requirements based on meal reports.
  • Follow diet orders and use approved substitutions.
  • Ensure quality and presentation in food production.
  • Plan, prepare, and serve meals according to schedule.
