Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dietary team member to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will follow prescribed diet specifications and food safety policies while working under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

The role offers a part-time schedule with shifts from 6:00a–1:30p and 12:00p–6:30p, paying $16.00 per hour. Benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, and flexible pay options (Daily Pay or Weekly Pay) are provided, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet state requirements for food handler training.
• GED assistance can be provided to help you earn your GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to prescribed resident diet specifications and procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies.
• Assist the Food Service Director and maintain food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Part-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 6:00a - 1:30p and 12:00p - 6:30p
• Wage: $16.00 per hour
