Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred, especially in healthcare.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral/written instructions in English.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and therapeutic diets is a plus.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Food Service Manager and Dietitian to follow menus and production schedules.
• Prepare, portion, and serve meals according to therapeutic diets and resident preferences.
• Set up trays/place settings based on individual dietary needs.
• Prepare snacks, beverages, and nourishments.
• Assist in stocking, storing food, and organizing supplies.
• Clean kitchen areas, dishes, utensils, and equipment per sanitation guidelines.
• Follow all food safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
• Support vending par level preparation (snacks, entrees, etc.).
• Assist during mealtimes and help ensure timely delivery of food.
• Attend departmental meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.
