Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Food and Nutrition Assistant to support the Food and Nutrition Manager in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting, planning and presenting meals to residents. You will help ensure meals meet residents' nutritional needs, supervise cooks and aides, and help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Dietary Managers Association coursework preferred.
One year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients.
Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients.
Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
