Evercare of Breese in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Dietary Assistant to join our resident-centered team. You will review, prepare, and serve meals according to menus and special diets, while upholding sanitary standards and a safe, clean kitchen.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability for evening shifts and every-other-weekend availability, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in residents' daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must possess patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to work with residents at varying levels of maturity.
• Kitchen experience is preferred, but not required
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders, ensuring food and facilities are prepared and maintained in accordance with sanitary regulations
• Ensure the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner, with attention to detail and quality
• Prepare and deliver snacks and other designated items as instructed
• Assist in preparation, cooking, and clean-up of meals and prep areas, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
• Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
