Job summary

Haven of Champaign is seeking dependable Dietary Aides to join our team. You will assist with meal service, food preparation, and maintain a clean dining environment in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

This part-time role requires evening and weekend availability. Prior dietary/food service or healthcare experience is preferred, with emphasis on teamwork and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary, food service or healthcare recommended.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | Evening & Weekend Availability Required

Job Summary

Haven of Champaign is seeking dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our residents by assisting with meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment within our skilled nursing and long-term care community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents


• Serve meals in dining areas and resident rooms


• Follow dietary guidelines and special meal plans as directed


• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas


• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment


• Follow food safety and infection control procedures


• Assist residents with meal setup and basic dining support as needed

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred


• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred


• Ability to work every other weekend
