Pennswood Village is hiring a Dietary Assistant to support meal service in our Health Center. The role offers daytime hours with a 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. shift and a full-time schedule, including every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsibilities include preparing cold foods, assembling resident trays, and assisting with dining room service. You will also deliver meal carts, coordinate take-out meals, and ensure strict food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to provide professional, courteous service.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cold foods and assemble resident meal trays.
• Set up and assist with dining room meal service.
• Deliver meal carts and coordinate take-out meals.
• Bus, reset, and sanitize dining and service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and modified-diet guidelines.
