We are hiring for:

Dietary Assistant, Bear Creek ICF

Type: Regular

To assist in the preparation, cooking, service, and sanitation of food and kitchen areas, including equipment and storage.

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 20 lbs regularly; able to lift up to 40 lbs, pull 25 lbs, and perform squatting, kneeling, crawling, crouching, climbing, and stooping.
• Use hands to handle objects, stand, walk, and demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, service, and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas.
• Perform cleaning duties and organize storage areas.
• Deliver food throughout the facility and auxiliary buildings in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve quality food following sanitary and nutritional standards.
• Serve food according to diet orders and maintain sanitation in the dietary area.
• Participate in Quality Assurance assessments and adhere to personal cleanliness and conduct standards.
• Work independently and prepare/cook food as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience in food service preferred.
