Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with serving nutritious, appealing meals to residents.
• Help prepare menu items, snacks, and supplements following physician's orders, standards, and regulations.
• Clear tables, sanitize equipment and tables, and perform other cleaning duties in the dining area and kitchen, including washing, drying, restocking dishes, pots, and pans, and cleaning kitchen/dining areas, as well as emptying trash as assigned.
• Maintain residents' dining areas to be pleasant and orderly.
• Respect residents' self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality of personal information.
• Provide residents with opportunities for independence and choice consistent with their care plans.
• Safeguard residents' property.
• Observe, measure, and document food intake as assigned.
• Receive and share information; observe and report residents' conditions to appropriate staff.
• Use the EMR accurately.
• Check equipment before use and notify supervisors or maintenance staff of issues.
• Operate dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely.
• Follow infection control procedures and OSHA and CDC guidelines related to blood-borne pathogens while serving food, assisting residents, and cleaning.

Qualifications
