Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant for Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN. This on-call/casual role supports dining room meal service for senior residents across Transitional Care and Long-term units while maintaining kitchenette supplies.

The position requires evening shifts, with a minimum of three shifts monthly including two weekends and one holiday. Join a dedicated team at Lake City Care Center, part of Mayo Clinic Health System and Ebenezer, providing compassionate care

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting.
• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required.
• Desire to work with seniors and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service.
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies.
• Assists with meal prep and special events.
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors.
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately.

This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents-patients and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our care community in Lake City, MN!
