Job Schedule: Part Time

We are seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our community committed to delivering outstanding food to our residents. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play an important role in all phases of food preparation that meet or exceed Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others!

Responsibilities

• Set tables; bus tables, wash off tables after meals.
• Prepare beverages and food as required.
• Serve food in dining rooms or other areas as required.
• Serve beverages to residents as required.
• Blend food in electric blender; prepare steam table.
• Prepare hot cart and serve food; clean and sanitize carts.
• Wash dishes; scrape and rack dishes; sort, stack, store clean dishes.
• Mop, sweep, and clean work area.

Qualifications

• Complete and meet required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities; e.g., food handlers certificate.
• Knowledge of and ability to learn food serving, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements.
• Ability to move food service and preparation equipment as needed, using up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force continuously.
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods; ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and walk over 75% of shift.
