Job summary

The Gardens for Memory Care at Easton is seeking a part-time Dietary Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Easton, PA.

You will work with our food service team to provide support in all dietary functions in accordance with established dietary policies, procedures, and resident care standards. Weekend shifts are available. No prior experience is required, but preferred; duties include meal service, sanitation, and stock management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous dietary or food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen areas.
• Assist cooks with meal preparation and food service duties.
• Serve food trays to residents in dining rooms and resident care areas.
• Return trays and dishes to the dishwashing area following meals.
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining kitchen inventory as directed.
