Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare and portion salads, gelatins and other cold foods according to patient diets and schedules.

You will interpret production sheet data to determine food requirements, weigh and measure ingredients, and follow standardized recipes to ensure accurate meal presentation. Duties include stocking and serving in the cafeteria, catering areas, doctors lounge, and Oak Garden.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Some training/background in Customer Service.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to move and transport trays, carts, equipment and supplies.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for handling dishes and serving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion salads, gelatins and cold foods as required.
• Weigh, measure and chop ingredients for recipes.
• Follow standardized recipes to complete food production.
