Job summary

Sevita seeks a Dietary and Food Aide to support individuals with diverse needs in a community-based setting. The role involves preparing menu items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring safety and rights compliance.

On-the-job training will build dietary skills and standard practices. The position offers full-time compensation and benefits, with a steady schedule from 11am to 7pm and a $15 hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Acquire standard dietary practices and skills through on-the-job training with experienced staff. Prepare all menu items and ensure presentation and preparation adhere to standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain adequate food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area and all equipment and serving utensils.
• Report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, and incidents.
• Recognize, comply, and promote all rules regarding the individuals’ rights.

Dietary and Food Aide

Pay: $15/hr

Schedule: 11a-7p

Do you have a passion to help others? Every person needs the support of others, but we look for special people to support the adults and children we serve with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, medical complexities, and those that are living with emotional or behavioral disabilities.
