Job summary

FreshDirect LLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our healthcare kitchen team. The role supports the Dietary Manager by stocking food items, assisting in food prep and service of therapeutic meals, and maintaining clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

You will handle portion control, report on resident food and beverage consumption, and comply with health, safety, and licensing requirements such as Food Handler’s Permit and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Permit in Required Counties.
• Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain).
• Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing.
• Tuberculosis Testing.
• Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire).
• Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds.
• Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English.

Responsibilities

• Stock food items and assist in food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items.
• Prepare, cook and serve therapeutic meals as directed by the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in portion control and monitor resident food and beverage consumption.
• Report any dietary concerns or changes to the Dietary Manager.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, dining and utility areas daily to maintain health standards.
