Schedule Details: Must be available every other weekend and holiday after training; shifts vary from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and assemble food per recipes; monitor food temperatures.
  2. Stock kitchenettes and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
  3. Serve food adhering to portion and temperature standards.
  4. Organize supplies for service within time frames.
  5. Distribute food and meal trays according to dietary procedures.
  6. Maintain stock in trayline refrigerators.
  7. Interact with patients for menu selection, considering dietary restrictions.
  8. Operate food service equipment safely; report malfunctions.
  9. Handle refuse and perform cleaning tasks.
  10. Operate dishwashers, sanitize equipment and work areas.
  11. Perform other duties as needed to support dietary operations.

Enhance skills through meetings and training to meet regulatory standards.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or 1 year related experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good communication, English proficiency, teamwork, customer service.

Physical Requirements: Standing/walking 100%, lifting up to 40 lbs, pushing/pulling carts, potential for falls/burns/cuts, bending and body mechanics changes. Ability to lift 35 lbs without assistance; use patient handling equipment for heavier lifts.

Addendum: Report safety events, promote safety culture, communicate openly, and report threats. Perform other related duties as required.
