Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents according to diet orders and an approved menu.
• Set up trays, deliver meals, and assist with special events and requests.
• Ensure the quality and temperature of food items; deliver and retrieve trays and wash dishes.
• Uphold safety and sanitary standards, follow laws and company policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
