Snow Hill Memory Care is seeking a friendly Dietetic Aide to join our culinary team, delivering nutritious, resident-centered meals. You will assist with meal service, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support residents during dining to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meal Assistance: Help prepare, portion, and serve meals to residents according to dietary plans and special requests.
• Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas; wash dishes and equipment as needed.
• Resident Support: Provide meal assistance to residents, including setup and serving, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Food Safety: Follow food safety protocols, proper storage, handling, and sanitation.
• Inventory Support: Assist in receiving and storing food, check inventory, and report shortages.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the dietary team to keep kitchen and dining areas running smoothly.
• Resident Engagement: Fulfill special dietary requests and meet individual resident preferences during meals.
