Job Details

Location: Blue Skies West - San Antonio, TX

Type: Part Time

Salary: $14.50 Hourly

Shift: Any

Position Responsibilities

• Serve modified and regular diets as prescribed by the physician under supervision of the Dietary Manager, following written menus.
• Assemble patient trays according to marked menu and diet.
• Follow instructions to ensure residents are provided with quality meals, snacks, and nourishments.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Physical/Environmental Demands

Job duties are physically demanding. Must be able to stand and walk for 6-7 hours daily, lift 20-50 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds. Bending, squatting, and reaching are required, along with mobility for maneuvering in work areas. PPE will be provided, and training on its use will be given. Exposure to heat, fumes, odors, and potential communicable diseases is possible. Proper lifting, bending, and chemical handling techniques will be taught.

Qualifications

• Required: Prior food service experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Schedule

Core hours vary, with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Additional hours may be required for special events or assignments.
