Job summary

Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Briarcliff Manor, NY is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide. In this essential role, you’ll assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents, while maintaining a clean, safe dining environment.

Shifts are PRN: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with pay at $19.18 per hour. Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred; training is available, and reliability, teamwork, and compassion are valued.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Deliver food carts, trays, and supplies to dining areas and resident rooms.
• Serve meals and snacks with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist with routine cleaning duties according to facility standards.
• Report any concerns or equipment issues promptly to the Food Services Supervisor.
• Provide kind and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Services Director.
