Job summary

Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a PRN basis. You’ll assist with nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment, supporting residents daily.

Shifts are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM with a pay rate of $19.18 per hour. Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred, and training is provided to help you contribute quickly and reliably.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (training available).
• Reliable, responsible, and eager to contribute to a team environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting elderly and disabled residents.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Deliver food carts, trays, and supplies to dining areas and resident rooms.
• Serve meals and snacks with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist with routine cleaning duties according to facility standards.
• Report any concerns or equipment issues promptly to the Food Services Supervisor.
• Provide kind and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Services Director.
