Job summary

Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center in Kearny, NJ is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals. The role runs 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM with a pay rate of $15.49/hour.

You will prepare meal trays, deliver and collect them, and help maintain a clean dining area in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications include at least 1 year of dietary experience in healthcare, English literacy, teamwork, and a resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up resident meal trays according to individual dietary needs.

• Maintain cleanliness after each meal service, including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas.
• Assist with food preparation for special events and celebrations.
• Deliver daily snacks and ensure food carts are transported to designated areas.
• Support departmental protocols, policies, and health regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and their families.
