Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield - PRN Dietary Aide

Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has an opening for a PRN Dietary Aide. We are an accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents aged 6-17. Our focus is on providing exceptional treatment and support to children, adolescents, and their families.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring meals are ready at the scheduled times.
2. Following types and quantities of meats, vegetables, and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.
3. Following therapeutic diet menus and recipes, and instructing cooks/helpers accordingly.
4. Tasting food during cooking to ensure doneness, adjusting heat as needed, and re-calibrating thermometers as necessary.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work the scheduled hours as prescribed for the department.
