Job summary

Harborview Health Center Sarasota is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals in our nursing home. You will follow planned menus, communicate with the director of dietary services, and help ensure meals are timely, attractive, and nourishing for residents.

This role requires adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, teamwork in a busy kitchen, and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience in dietary settings preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including menus and diet orders.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Accurately plate and serve meal trays according to planned menus.
• Communicate effectively with the director of dietary services.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served timely, accurately, and to residents' satisfaction.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Duties as assigned.
