DIETARY AIDE

Part Time, Days

Job Description

1. Assist the cook with non-cooking duties, ensuring sanitary, safe, and pleasant dietary conditions for patients and others served by the Dietary Department.
2. Follow planned menu and prepare food and beverages according to tested recipes and established procedures.
3. Provide food service to residents and assist in serving beverages and tray carts.
4. Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, silverware, etc.
5. Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop work areas.
6. Assist with meal preparation, drinks, supplements, and snacks alongside the Cook and Assistant Cook.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent, and 18 years of age or older.
2. Ability to use supplies economically and operate equipment safely.
3. Maintain a neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
4. Ability to read diet cards, speak English, and lift up to 30 pounds.
