Job summary

Blaire House of Worcester is seeking an energetic Dietary Aide to uphold our high standards for senior care. You will perform a variety of duties in the kitchen, dishwashing room, or dining room, including fruit and vegetable prep, and delivering food trucks to units or dining rooms.

Training is provided on the job. The position offers dust benefits and a supportive team in a 75-bed skilled nursing center dedicated to Dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Food service training is desirable but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of skilled and unskilled duties in the kitchen, in the dishwashing room, or in the dining room.
• May assist in cutting, peeling, and washing of fruit and vegetables.
• Responsible for the delivery of food trucks to the units or to the dining room; collect these trucks when ready for return to the kitchen.
• Wash pots and pans, remove trash, and wash floors daily.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work area, equipment, and dining room tables and chairs.
